we share this world, yet to see it as our own. exploiting, destroying everything in sight no way to stop this, will it ever end? we must take control, let the change begin. living in fear of life, destroying all that's sacred. feeling no remorse for our actions. the change must take place inside of each of us. the change that's needed to reestablish trust. we close our eyes and ignore their cries. blood stained, life drained, their faces shall remain. we must end this now. the capacity to speak does not give us the right to take another's life. our ability for reasoning should bring us to better this world, not destroy it. other's blood runs through our veins, destroying our sympathy, no compassion for life.

Chokehold, a metallic hardcore band from Canada, with Beastie Boys touches. Their 2nd LP Content with Dying is easily their angriest and most passionate. This 1995 LP is impressively simplistic. Keeping a mid-tempo on the LP, they plod and chug along with some headbanging riffs, well shown on the opening track "Underneath". Not the most varied record, it's the same kind of chuggy riffs through the whole LP. Yet this LP remains one of the heaviest in the genre. Essential for any 90s hardcore fan! xhrl_
